braised sea cucumber with duck

 First time cooking braised sea cucumber with duck. Have it along with broccoli =D Bought the sea cucumber from Junction 10 Sheng Siong. It was already cleaned, so convenient to use. I just boiled it in water with ginger for 5min just in case there is any odour. Marinated the duck (pre-packed 1/4 duck purchase from Shenh Siong) for 1hr in the fridge with some five spice powder, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, pinch of salt, sesame oil and chinese cooking wine. After that, heat up the pot with some oil and stir fry some ginger and garlic till fragance. Mix in the marinated duck and stir fry for a few minutes before adding some chicken stock, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and sesame oil. Bring it to boil and cook in low heat till the meat and sea cucumber is done. Approximate 1.5hr. Depend on the quantity of your duck and sea cucumber. Do not over cook as the sea cucumber will shrink and melt into the broth.
